i was looking for the song they play when jd drew hit that homerun in ALCS game 5 in 2008

Hey Chris,

Thanks for the question. JD Drew's walk-off hit in Game 5 of the 2008 ALCS was fantastic! At Fenway Park, every time the Sox win a game they immediately play "Dirty Water" by the Standells.

Here is a short video I took of the Standells playing "Dirty Water" at Fenway in October 2007, just days before the Drew hit. Enjoy!

I was wrong, Chris was talking about Drew's 2 run homer in the 8th. He emailed me back and said he found the answer. The song in question was the popular homerun song Sandstorm by Darude.

Cape Cod League Alumni Player of the Game - Game 1 ALCS

Three cheers to new Uncle Kevin Youkilis for being Game 1's Cape League Alumni Player of the Game!

He didn't care that going into the game he was 0-17 against Tampa Bay starter, James Shield - he nailed two hits off of him.

During the game Youk went 3 for 4 with two Doubles and an RBI. On the field he made Mike Lowell proud by knocking down Upton's shot up the line and holding him to a single in the 8th, during a critical point in the game.

Who will be tonight's player of the game? I can't wait - GO SOX!
